Madam Edna has been my German teacher since I joined Kisumu Boys High School in Form 1.Her dedication to her work is no secret as she is at work at times as early as 4 am to tutor her candidate classes.Learning a foreign language is evidently not an easy job,but her patience especially to those students with challenges is admirable.Her prowess in the language cannot be overemphasized and definitely the reason why I recommend her for the award.

I write to recommend my teacher of Excellence ,Mdm Edna Obare for the German Teacher of the Year award,2023 I have not met a teacher quite firm on integrity and good character ,as she is ,etiquette inclusive.Mdm Edna is not just a brilliant classroom teacher but also a force to reckon with in co- curricular activities esp German elocutions .It is no wonder we have never missed out on the National Music Festival since we joined form 1 and this year we took 3 position 1s at the National level.She is a very dedicated teacher ,and clearly she loves what she does.She engages her colleagues and other schools in activities in the school like German days, Workshops and other joint activities in close collaboration with Goethe Institute and the embassy, Kisumu Boys being the host. She deserves this award and much more
